***This cast was nearly lost :/ and barely wrestled back from the missing audio gods.... Sorry for the uneven, sometimes poor audio quality*** We’re joined by author and John Hughes enthusiast D.X. Ferris to unpack the third film in the National Lampoon Vacation series, which was written by Hughes and based on his National Lampoon magazine short story “Vacation ‘59.” Swapping road trips for a stay-at-home old-fashioned family Christmas, the Griswolds endure flammable cats, flammable Christmas trees, and flammable sewer gas in a Yuletide celebration for the ages. So fill up your Marty Moose glasses with eggnog, grab your chainsaw, and check your sh!tters because this is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday episode of Legends Podcast!
