Twenty-five years ago, an
amazing entertainment spectacle showcased a radical new technology
that brought extinct creatures to life and captured the imagination
of the entire world. The fact that it happened to be a movie about
an entertainment spectacle that showcased a radical new technology
bringing extinct creatures to life was purely coincidental. Unlike
the titular amusement park, the movie was a monumental success and
hatched a franchise that, though at times seemed endangered, has
