This
week we’re talking about Baby Driver from 2017. This film marked
the first big-screen outing for director Edgar Wright after he
wrapped up his Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, and Baby Driver
tells the story of the titular reluctant wheelman, Baby, who is
actually a grown-up. The odd title didn’t confuse audiences,
however, as the summer release turned out to be Wright’s biggest
box-office success ever. Showcasing thrilling car chases
choreographed to a peppy pop-rock soundtrack, Baby Driver scored
with moviegoers, but will it score with the three flavors of
podcast host as we judge the final installment of Aug-Heist
2018?
