week we’re talking about Ronin from 1998, which brings together a
band of covert operatives in post-Cold War France on the hunt for a
mysterious case. Directed by John Frankenheimer, this hard-boiled
thriller earned praise for its realistic car chases and gritty
action that influenced the Bond and Bourne franchises in the next
decade. However, the film was also criticized for its overworked
plot and reliance on trope. But whatever the case may be, the film
never truly answers its most important question: WHAT’S THE COLOR
