Legends Podcast takes a detour from blockbuster to Blumhouse with 2017’s surprisingly successful debut film from writer/director Jordan Peele. In making the transition from TV sketch comedy to horror, Peele put a terrifying spin on the classic “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” set-up. Get Out earned a massive $250 million on a four-and-a-half million dollar budget and garnered multiple awards and nominations, including an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Peele. But does this scary story add up to a modern classic, or should Peele “Get Out” of the movie business? (Seriously, though, he shouldn't.)
